Small, individual restaurant, on the end of the high street. Worth passing others for. A hidden gem coming across it by chance. Extremely tasty and average sized portions. We had a selection and shared, all dishes being remarkable. I would expect a restaurant of this quality to be elsewhere, commanding higher prices. A wonderful find, and highly recommended. More restaurants of this quality in Street please!

I visited the Thai Elephant for the first time in September and couldn't believe I hadn't tried it sooner! The food was great quality, and was served piping hot and beautifully presented and was delicious. The service was good with a great atmosphere and despite being very busy the staff were attentive and very helpful. Great for takeaways too!

Just been for the first time with my girlfriend. Really friendly people. Food was very good - I had prawns in batter with chilli sauce which was really good. A bit like King prawn butterfly at an Indian restaurant, very large prawns and batter more like a breadcrumb. Followed by Thai Green curry. Again very good, quite a heat kick to it. Sticky rice is very sticky, my girlfriend's Jasmine rice looked nicer. All in all would definitely recommend.

My, husband, son, daughter-in-law and I visited this lovely restaurant on a wet and windy Saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous food and drink. The staff were very attentive and the food arrived in a very short time despite the restaurant being full! We booked a table which was a blessing as it was very busy. The decor was great and everything was spotlessly clean. We finished with a floater coffee which was the nicest coffee I have ever tasted! Would thoroughly recommend and when we are in Street again, we will definitely return!

Small Thai restaurant at the south end of the high street. Easy street parking. Very good selection of food on menu, including a page of vegetarian dishes. Friendly and quick service with large portions. Can get quite busy at times, suggest booking especially Friday/Saturday. Nice decor and spotlessly clean. Have eaten here quite a few times, always consistent quality.
